Here at the sorting plant in Schattdorf we’re increasingly taking delivery not only of textiles, but also discarded toys. What is TEXAID doing with them?
For three years now, OVS (previously Charles Vögele) has teamed up with TEXAID to allow shoppers to drop off their used textiles in OVS fashion stores.
TEXAID, in partnership with Coop and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, will launch the “Texcycle” research project. The goal of the project is to create a new upcycling raw material that can be used in a number of different fields.
