TEXAID now offers a wide product range for companies and businesses that use high-quality industrial cleaning cloths for professional cleaning. Approximately 65 percent of the discarded textiles sorted by professional TEXAID sorters is separated out as wearable clothing. About 30 percent of the collected textiles is classed as "no longer wearable" and is either used as raw material or made into cleaning cloths (around 15 percent). The latter is done in the company's own plants using processes and systems that conserve resources. Hooks, buttons and eyelets are removed from the separated-out textiles in accordance with DIN 61650, and they are cut to size. This saves valuable raw materials and protects the environment.
