By selling the textiles, TEXAID generates funds for charitable organizations. Money that is used for social projects at home and abroad.

HEKS, the "Hilfswerk der evangelischen Kirchen Schweiz" relief organization of Switzerland’s evangelical church, is one of the six founder relief organizations of TEXAID and receives annual payments from TEXAID that are used for charitable projects. At a total of 30 garden locations, HEKS offers refugee women the possibility of maintaining their own garden area. The project makes a very real contribution towards integrating female migrants and their families into Swiss society.
