By selling the textiles, TEXAID generates funds for charitable organizations. Money that is used for social projects at home and abroad.

Kolping Switzerland is one of the six founder relief organizations of TEXAID and receives annual payments from TEXAID that are used for charitable projects. Kolping Switzerland is currently involved in Tanzania in the rebuilding of the school in Bukoba, which was almost completely destroyed by an earthquake in September. Thanks to the TEXAID funds, Kolping Switzerland was able to provide financial support for the rebuilding as early as in the first week following the quake.
