The industry leaders came together once again in the Danish capital for the 10th Copenhagen Fashion Summit conference (15 and 16 May 2019). TEXAID was also there as an exhibitor and, with TEXAID Retail Solutions, presented its tailored recycling services for the entire textiles industry – for retailers, fashion brands, producers and suppliers.

Global Fashion Agenda organised the Copenhagen Fashion Summit conference for the tenth time. The multi-stakeholder event took place under the patronage of the crown princess Mary Elizabeth of Denmark at the Copenhagen concert hall. In addition to the anniversary celebration, there were numerous other interesting events on the programme: from the publication of the “Pulse of the Fashion Industry” report through closed roundtables for managers and the Youth Fashion Summit to high-calibre podium discussions – people like François-Henri Pinault (CEO of Kering), Stefan Seidel (Head of Corporate Sustainability at PUMA) and Katharine Hamnett (fashion designer) were invited as speakers.

For TEXAID, participation in the Copenhagen Fashion Summit conference 2019 was a great success. The company was able to present its solutions for sustainable textile recycling in numerous discussions with manufacturers, retailers and disseminators. TEXAID will participate in the event again next year.
