Sunday 24th April 2016 is the date for the 14th Zürich Marathon. This year, TEXAID is once again organizing a used clothes collection at the event.

The Zürich Marathon, team run and city run provide runners with an optimum route. Along the beautiful Lake Zürich, the charming old city and the elegant Bahnhofstrasse, which together form the main backdrop for the Zürich Marathon.

In cooler weather in particular, it is best to wear warm clothes over your running gear until shortly before the start. For this reason, many runners wear something over their running gear that they then want to dispose of. To make sure that these used clothes don't end up with the trash, TEXAID will this year again provide used clothes sacks bearing the TEXAID logo near the starting line. Whether it's jackets, T-shirts or long trousers, marathon runners can put their warm clothes into the large TEXAID sacks and then head off to tackle the marathon.
