TEXAID collection points at Charles Vögele
Anyone looking around for a new outfit at Charles Vögele can at the same time also get rid of their old clothes there and receive a voucher to the value of ten Francs. In collaboration with TEXAID, the Swiss fashion company is getting involved in finding the best way to recycle unwanted textiles.
Since the start of 2015, the fashion company Charles Vögele has been trialling the collection of used textiles at its branches in collaboration with TEXAID. «This service is quite clearly something that's needed, and has consequently been well received by our customers», commented Philipp Sigrist, General Manager of Charles Vögele Switzerland, with satisfaction. Sigrist also stressed that «thanks to this collaboration with TEXAID, we too can make a contribution towards textile recycling and in so doing close the reusable materials cycle». Anyone handing in their unwanted clothes – preferably packed in a plastic sack – at the checkout will also receive a voucher for ten Francs that can be redeemed against their next purchase for 50 Francs or more.
