The TEXAID parent company in Switzerland currently operates a fleet of around 55 vehicles, primarily used for emptying textile recycling containers across the country. To optimize routes both economically and ecologically, TEXAID utilizes digital software. Recently, TEXAID replaced nine more vehicles with new electric models. This initiative is part of TEXAID’s sustainability strategy and a significant step towards reducing the ecological footprint.

Our plan for our business fleet in Switzerland is clear: gradually replacing traditional combustion engines with innovative electric vehicles, aiming to reach 80% by the end of 2024.
