TEXAID offered a guided tour of its sorting facility in Schattdorf on 25 October 2018 as part of this year's Textile Sustainability Conference in Milan.

The conference in Milan was organised by Textile Exchange, a global non-profit organisation that works closely with its members to drive sustainable change in the textile industry.

TEXAID offered a “Texcursion” to its Schattdorf location as the final item on the Conference agenda. As well as giving participants a guided tour of its sorting facility, TEXAID explained its commitment to sustainable textile recycling. In addition, fashion designer Rafael Kouto presented his collection created in association with TEXAID.

Around 20 representatives from the fields of textile manufacturing and retail took part in the event.
