In the Schlieren area, there are several TEXAID old clothes containers which collect for the benefit of Stadtjugendmusik Schlieren, among others. TEXAID generates financial resources through the sale of old clothes which it pays out to numerous regional organisations and associations in addition to the six participating relief organisations. This also includes Stadtjugendmusik Schlieren.

With the “Schüler musizieren” (Pupils making music) project, the association is attempting to generate enthusiasm for wind music among children and young people. Music professionals, instruments, teaching material and good organisation are required for the implementation of such a project. Financial payments from TEXAID are also helping to finance this project.
