Ecological recycling for all kinds of textiles
TEXAID offers sustainable solutions so that all kinds of textiles that can no longer be worn as clothing can be ecologically recycled and reused as raw materials. The ecological recycling of disused workwear places specific demands on the sorting and recycling process, as it often includes a logo or lettering.

Condition and material composition determine the intended use
TEXAID inspects the individual items of clothing from VBZ at its sorting facility. Anything in good condition should retain its original purpose and be reused. Disused clothing that is no longer wearable or clothing where the logos have been cut out are repurposed for industry, for example as cleaning cloths or insulating materials. As a result, this clothing can also remain in the textile cycle. This saves natural resources, chemicals and energy.
